Ted Lasso Biscuits

Published: Nov 12, 2021 · Modified: Mar 14, 2025 by Amy Bauer · This post may contain affiliate links · 1 Comment

I wrote a month ago in my weekly newsletter* about seeing a recipe for Ted Lasso biscuits and wanting to make them, despite never having seen the show. I'd been reading and hearing rave reviews for months about Ted Lasso, but we didn't have Apple TV and I was loathed to get yet another subscription to a streaming service — granted we only have Netflix and HBO, so it's not all that bad. But then I got a new computer for my birthday and those brilliant devils at Apple sent me a 3-month free trial to Apple TV**...and thus began my obsession with the show. I get it! I get the hype! I can't remember the last time I was this into a television show. It's just perfect.

Four buttery shortbread biscuits inspired by Ted Lasso, placed on pink parchment paper, resembling the iconic treat from the show.

So when I saw Christina Tosi from Milk Bar share a recipe for the biscuits from the show, I knew I had to make them. We gave out Milk Bar cookies as late-night party treats at our wedding, I've watched her episode of Chef's Table multiple times, and am an all-around fan of Tosi's work.

I used this recipe for the biscuits, and since I didn't change it whatsoever, you can hop right on over to the Milk Bar site and read the recipe there.

I'm quite partial to shortbread cookies if you couldn't tell.

So there you have it, a short and sweet post about Ted Lasso biscuits and the greatest show on television right now. And if you're wondering hmm, why are there only 4 biscuits in this photo? Well, it's because they are *so* good that that's practically all that's left of the batch. The others were eaten, and a few apart on me when I took them out of the pan — you know, the classic Great British Bake Off catastrophe. So those weren't camera ready biscuits. Luckily, Paul Hollywood isn't around to judge my presentation!

*Are you signed up? It's a short and sweet newsletter that goes out every Friday with recent posts, fun nature, food, and gardening news, and sundry entertaining things from all around the internet.

**Obviously we're continuing after the free trial. Ugh, curse those marketing executives. They have me hook, line, and sinker.
